Doris M. Abbott

STERLING – Doris M. Abbott, 90, of Sterling, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.

Doris was born May 20, 1922, in Sterling, the daughter of Horace and Anna (Koch) Brittian. She married James F. Abbott on June 21, 1941, in Sterling. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1993. Doris was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sterling.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Greg) Kontos of Windham, Maine; one son, Thomas J. Abbott of Chicago; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
