Call lawmakers and help stop gay marriage

Published: Saturday, March 23, 2013 1:15 a.m. CDT

The same-sex marriage bill in Illinois, named “Marriage Fairness Act,” was approved by the Senate and is headed to the House of Representatives to be voted on soon.

Please call your representative in the House right now to stop gay marriage in Illinois. Please contact this website, http://prolifeaction.org/t/ilpols, to get your representative’s phone number.

Numbers matter. More than 4,000 people went to Springfield to lobby our legislators, and this made a huge difference. The vote will be close, and we need you to help make these calls. Please call now.

Nations that have granted same-sex marriages have many problems, such as claims for equality for polygamy and bestiality marriages; anything will constitute a marriage. God-ordained marriage will completely lose its sanctity, resulting in few marriages. Few marriages will mean more burdens on the state to take care of babies born out of wedlock.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call now.
