BROWNSTOWN – Michael E. Shaw, 47, of Brownstown, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in Knoxville, Tenn. He was a truck driver for 25 years.

Michael was born April 8, 1965, in Sterling, the son of Herman and Lena F. (Gammon) Shaw. He married Pamela Dial on Jan. 30, 1993, in Rock Falls.

Survivors include his parents, Herman and Lena Shaw of Rock Falls; his wife of Brownstown; four daughters, Sherri (Dave) Triplett of Aurora, Stephanie (Rick Sotelo) Boucher of Rock Falls, Rachael (Jose) Quiroz of Rockford, and Naomi Shaw of Rock Falls; two sisters, Barbara McCoy and Caraline (Mickey) Vasquez, and one brother, Richard (Christi) Shaw, all of Rock Falls; three grandsons; and six granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and one son, Shane.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
