I was happy to read about the Tampico Community and Recreation Center committee looking to the use of the Tampico Grade School building because the school district has decided not to use the building next year.

I was wondering what would happen to this building. I have been walking in the gym each day at 6 a.m. on days of school, and I was hoping the building still could be used.

The Tampico Area Long Range Planning Committee has been instrumental in providing Tampico with a doctor and looking for the betterment of the area. It is with great interest we hope the Tampico Community and Recreation Center committee will reach its goal in obtaining the Tampico Grade School building without becoming a burden to the residents of the Tampico area.
