Angelo F. Celletti

ROCK FALLS – Angelo F. Celletti, 88, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Manor Care in Davenport, Iowa. He was employed by Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. as a millwright for 30 years, retiring in 1977.

Angelo was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Rock Falls, the son of Phillip and Anna (Garcia) Celletti. He served in the Army.

Survivors include three daughters, Angela (Donald) Brown and Cheri (Ted) Creed, both of Quincy, and Debra Celletti of Clearwater, Fla.; one brother, Tony (Phyllis) Celletti of Rock Falls; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday and Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls, with Monsignor Thomas Dzielak officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.

A memorial has been established to St. Andrew Grade School in Rock Falls.
