Walter J. Brasen

WALNUT – Walter James Brasen, 68, of Walnut, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at his home. He worked as an assembler for ALM before retiring.

Walter was born July 9, 1944, in Chicago, the son of Walter W. and Helen E. (Sawyer) Brasen.

He is survived by two brothers, James (Kathryn) Brasen of Nashville, Tenn., and Robert (Donette) Brasen of Walnut; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A time of sharing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and the memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, with the Rev. Eldon Cook, pastor of Walnut Community Bible Church, officiating. Burial of cremains will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Northlake.

A memorial has been established.
