Board offers teachers its counteroffer
DIXON – Negotiations went into the wee hours this morning, as members of the Dixon Education Association and the school board still were reviewing and discussing the board's latest offer well past 12:30 a.m.
The Dixon School Board presented the union its counteroffer earlier in the day, Superintendent Michael Juenger said.
Teachers called the meeting crucial, since they can call a strike as early as Wednesday. Teachers have been working without a contract since August.
