POWAY, Calif. – Laura (Dixon) Rowe, 50, of Poway, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in San Diego.

She was born Nov. 15, 1962, in Bancroft, Iowa, the daughter of William and Jacqueline (Claussen) Dixon. Laura graduated from Dixon High School in 1980. She attended Sauk Valley College. In 1983, she moved to San Diego.

She married Raymond Rowe on Oct. 8, 1988, at Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn, Shelter Island in San Diego. She graduated on Oct. 8, 1994, from Coleman College in La Mesa, Calif. She currently was employed by Beckman Coulter as a senior field service engineer.
