PEKIN (AP) — Authorities say three people found dead in a home in Pekin are a husband, wife and their adult son. Police suspect the three were shot as part of double-homicide and suicide.

Tazewell County Coroner James Baldi said Monday that the dead are 77-year-old Ira L. Clemmons, his 75-year-old wife, Barbara L. Clemons, and their 52-year-old son, Allen S. Clemons. They were found in the couple's home in Pekin. The town is just south of Peoria.

Pekin Police Spokesman Don Jolly told the Pekin Daily Times that investigators are not looking for suspects.

Baldi says the bodies were found about 9:45 p.m. Sunday after a relative of the three asked police to check on the couple's welfare.

Autopsies are planned for Tuesday.
