Robert Charles Wright

OREGON – Robert Charles Wright passed away at 11:57 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Oregon Healthcare & Rehab Center. 

He was born Oct. 11, 1926, to Carroll and Belle (Lewis) Wright. He graduated from Mount Morris High School, Class of 1944, and attended college in Ames, Iowa. 

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was on the carrier Midway when it was commissioned. Charles married Donna Knight on June 27, 1953, in Ohio, Ill. He was employed as a Roto pressman for more than 40 years. Memberships included Masonic Blue Lodge for more than 55 years. He was a life member of the VFW.
