U.S. economy stands on very shaky ground

Mr. Bernanke said he will print (create) money forever. That should be a warning for everyone. The purchasing power of the Bernanke dollar will deteriorate rapidly. So will your savings.

The Federal Reserve Bank creates "money" out of thin air. It is just another form of counterfeiting and should carry the same penalty as private counterfeiting. It is in direct violation of our Constitution.

Presumably his aim is to destroy our American way of life. Lenin, of the Soviet Union, said, "There is no subtler, no surer means of overthrowing the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency." Well, our way of life certainly has been overturned. The American dream is gone.

We prospered for many years with our system of capitalism and freedom. The destroyers said profit is evil, even though it made us the richest nation on earth. Profit can be made only by promoting the general welfare. This is done by providing good- paying jobs and affordable products in the stores.

The U.S. was gradually changed to a socialist and slavery nation based on the gross and unpayable government debt plus the greatly enlarged federal government.

Today, our economy seems to be smooth and quiet, but this is an illusion. It is based on the trillions of dollars of government debt money, which is sent all over the country and shows up in the stores. This is an illusion that can't be maintained. The consequences are imminent and painful for everyone.

Action or no action: both will have painful consequences. The best action will be for the government to repudiate its incredibly huge, unpayable debt, but it will take time for an economic equilibrium to be achieved. The government should immediately establish poor farms at unused military bases to house the welfare people.
