Ralph Hamstra

MORRISON – Ralph Hamstra, 96, of Morrison, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown. He farmed for 40 years in the Morrison area.

Ralph was born July 16, 1916, in Morrison, the son of Dewey and Johanna (Bielema) Hamstra. He married Rena C. Hook on Feb. 27, 1942, in Morrison. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2005. He was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

Survivors include one son, Mark Hamstra of Sterling; one sister, Dorothy Boonstra, and one brother, Donald Hamstra, both of Morrison; and many nieces and nephews.
