Dixon School Board met Tuesday to discuss negotiations
Regular board meeting tonight
DIXON – The School Board met in closed session Tuesday to figure out where it stands in regard to negotiations with the teachers union.
Superintendent Michael Juenger said the Dixon School Board will pass on its wishes to its negotiating team. Before closed session, no one offered public comment. No action was taken Tuesday.
Teachers have been working without a contract since August, and could call a strike by next Tuesday. The board is scheduled to meet for a negotiating session with the Dixon Education Association on Monday.
