Board to buy new microphone system
DIXON – The Lee County Board agreed Tuesday to pay $35,850 for a new microphone system to replace their 17-year-old, now-defunct system.
The new system, which will be installed by Johnsburg-based RollCall-Pro, also will be able to record and to project agendas on the wall.
The board also voted to amend its lease with River Ridge Animal Hospital. The lease, which had no end date, now will end Dec. 31; future leases must be signed by Nov. 1 and will last a year.
