Riverfront update coming in Sterling
Asbestos abatement in theater nearly completed
STERLING – The city soon will receive an update on which riverfront buildings should be saved and which demolished.
Last summer, the city hired Gary W. Anderson Architects of Rockford to determine the fate of existing buildings and the potential for new development on the riverfront.
Sterling City Manager Scott Shumard told City Council members Tuesday night that the firm will present the results of its study at a March council meeting.
