Officials: Flu contributed to McLean County death
BLOOMINGTON (AP) — McLean County officials say the flu was a contributing factor in the death of an 8-year-old girl.
Kera Simon of the McLean County Health Department told the (Bloomington) Pantagraph (http://bit.ly/XYIXO3) on Monday that even though it's no longer peak flu season, it doesn't mean the season is over.
She says the 8-year-old girl died last week but there were other medical conditions that contributed to the death.
