NHL: Hawks beat Kings, move within a game of Ducks' record
CHICAGO – A couple of hours after taking a slap shot below the belt, Brent Seabrook sat in the victorious Blackhawks dressing room and put it simply: “Whatever it takes, I guess.”
The Hawks continued to throw themselves in front of pucks, dive headfirst into net-front scrums and scrap and claw their way to keep their streak of games without a regulation loss alive.
On Sunday afternoon at the United Center, the Hawks extended that run to 15 contests with a 3-2 victory over the Kings.
