Dixon school board meets today, Wednesday
Teacher contract negotiations, 1-cent sales tax among agenda items
DIXON – The School Board will meet twice this week.
The board will hold a special meeting at 7 tonight at the district’s administration office, 1335 Franklin Grove Road. The board will take public comment and then meet in closed session to discuss teacher contract negotiations. No action will be taken.
Teachers have been working without a contract since August, and could call a strike Feb. 26. The board is scheduled to meet for a negotiating session with the Dixon Education Association on Monday.
