Crafts, clubs at Rock Falls Library
ROCK FALLS – March happenings have been scheduled at Rock Falls Public Library, 1007 Seventh Ave.
■ Rocket Readers: Students in kindergarten through fourth grade will meet from 4 to 4:45 p.m. March 4, 11, and 18. Registration is required.
■ Craft Club meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 20.
■ Scrapbooking enthusiasts will gather from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 8 and 22.
■ Murder Mystery Desserts: Dessert will be served at 6 p.m. March 4. “Staying Alive: Murder Mystery,” presented by the Rock Falls High School Drama Club, will start at 6:30 p.m.
■ Mystery Book Club members will meet at 10 a.m. March 7 to discuss “The Scarpetta Factor,” by Patricia Cornwell.
■ The library board will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 11.
■ Internet classes will be from 1 to 3 p.m. March 4 and 6. The basics of the Internet will be taught.
■ A class on emailing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. March 18 and 20.
Computer classes are limited to 12 people. Registration is required. Classes are offered through an Eliminate the Digital Divide grant, awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Division of the Office of the Secretary of State, using money provided by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to the Sterling Public Library.
