Roundup: Falcons take third at state tournament
Riley sparks Sauk men to third home win in 5 days
The Faith Christian Falcons finished the ACSI State Tournament with a win Saturday, downing Kankakee Trinity 62-58 in the third-place game in Kankakee.
Isaac Weber had another monster game, finishing with 20 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks to lead the Falcons (18-11). Adam Dettman added 17 points, Aaron Claride scored 10, and Blake Hudson chipped in five points, eight boards and six assists.
Faith held Trinity star Chris Green, coming off games of 58 and 41 points in the state tournament, to 24 points, two shy of 1,000 on the season.
