Bonita Ann Kepner

WALNUT – Bonita “Bonnie” Ann Kepner, 69, of Walnut, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Bonnie was born on May 12, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Lester and Ann (Minssen) Belha. She was united in marriage to David Kepner on Dec. 1, 1963, in Morrison.

She was coordinator at Walnut Custom Homes in Walnut for 42 years. She was a member of Walnut United Methodist Church. Bonnie enjoyed collecting Fenton art glass and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, David Kepner of Walnut; daughter, Konnie (Pete) Swanson of Manlius; son, Paul Kepner of Chicago; three grandchildren, Nate, Nicole and Natalie; two brothers, Carl Belha of Oregon and Douglas Belha of Morrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Belha.

Cremation rites were accorded. A time of sharing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gale T. Brandner, pastor of Walnut United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Walnut Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
