STAUNTON, Va. – Pierre Mark Beelendorf, 56, of Staunton, Va., passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Beelendorf was born April 22, 1956, in Freeport, a son of the late Wayne Eugene Beelendorf and Elizabeth Marie (Perino) Beelendorf.

Pierre attended Fishersville United Methodist Church. He was employed with Lowe’s of Staunton as a sales associate and previously employed by Disney as a musician playing in the “Future Corp.” Pierre enjoyed woodworking, remodeling and carpentry. He was also a Boy Scout.

Survivors include his mother of Naples, Fla.; the mother of his children, Jody A. Beelendorf of Staunton; a son, Alexander “Alex” Beelendorf; a daughter, Ellery M. Beelendorf, both at home; a brother, Philip A. Beelendorf of Keokuk, Iowa; three sisters, Patrice A. Vary of Rock Falls, Paula R. Kispert of Oswego and Penny J. Beelendorf of Sterling.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. today in Fishersville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Larry Jent officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
