Others should face justice in Crundwell case
Everyone thinks that things will get back to normal [after Crundwell]. I am not one of those people, and I’m sure there are many out there like me who will not let it go because we care.
Well, I, and I’m sure the people who were interviewed at County Market, feel that there is more to this story than is being told. One person could not do this for over 20 years and no one else know about it.
The city of Dixon government, going all the way back to when she first started this, should also be punished; just as guilty knowing how much money that they receive, and for a person to say, “No, the money is not there,” and not check up on it.
The auditors (who are being investigated) say they never saw it. The person/tax consultant who did her taxes had to know how much she made a year – had to know.
Relatives who are now buying her property should not be allowed to, since it’s the city of Dixon’s money that bought it.
The bank that allowed this to go on for many years and did not question it – but is concerned about how I move my small paycheck around and calls numerous times because it is worried about my small paycheck. A few others I know get the same calls.
I think it is time to crack down where it is needed.
