Church site of preschool screenings

PROPHETSTOWN – Free preschool and kindergarten screenings for children 3 to 5 in Prophetstown and Lyndon will be from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 5 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 218 E. Third St.

The purpose of the screening is to provide a measure of the child’s development in areas important to learning. Speech evaluations and hearing and vision screenings will be included.

Children must be at least 3 on or before April 5 to be screened in April. Another screening will be in May for children who turn 3 after April 5 and before Aug. 31.
