Southside students to tackle challenge

MORRISON – Students at Southside Elementary School will take part in “Read The Most from Coast to Coast” Friday.

The national reading event challenges students to break the record for the number of Accelerated Reader quizzes taken in 1 day. They will attempt to top last year’s record of 3, 581, 992. All students will be eligible to receive a Certificate of National Participation.

Accelerated Reader is a reading management software program that helps educators monitor and manage students’ personalized reading practice.
