"I'm proud of these girls and how they never stopped battling, but you have to credit Rochelle with making big shots when they needed to all game long."

Williams led the Hubs with 10 points, while Abby Gould added eight. Lauren Murphy had six points and seven rebounds, and Marin Meiners chipped in five points, four boards and four assists. Dobbs, who scored 35 points in a 57-32 win against Dixon last Tuesday, was limited to eight points on 2-for-4 shooting and 4-for-6 free throws, but did grab 10 rebounds against the Duchesses' box-and-one defense.

"We feel like we have good depth and have players that can step up when Michelle is being denied the ball," coach Dobbs said. "We saw that today; I thought Williams played an awesome game, and Meiners hit some big shots and made some great passes."

Bailey led all scorers with 17 points, and also had team highs of six rebounds and three steals. Wolfe, Hartle and Kacie Dillow scored six points each, with Dillow grabbing four rebounds and dishing three assists. Hartle had three boards and two steals, and Wolfe also had a pair of thefts.

"This team showed a lot of heart tonight, especially on defense," Bailey said. "Kacie and Maggie [Bushman] did a great job against Dobbs, and we never gave up in any phase of the game until the final buzzer. We never thought we were out of it, and that just shows how hard we fought tonight."
