Corrections

Corrections for Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013

– Customers may take beer and wine into Gingko Tree Cafe, 216 W. First St., Dixon, which is offering a Valentine’s Day dinner and concert from 6 to 9 tonight. The cafe does not sell alcohol; that information was incorrect in Wednesday’s editions.

– William Doan was one of five people who either volunteer or substitute teach for the Dixon School District who attended a question-and-answer session Tuesday at Books on First to talk with teachers. A poor editing job in a story in Wednesday’s paper characterized the teachers in attendance as volunteers or substitutes.

– Also, an article in Wednesday’s editions misspelled the last name of former U.S. attorney Juliet Sorensen.

– In Tuesday’s editions, a flag inadvertently was added to Tyler Stone’s obituary. He worked at a naval shipyard, but did not serve in the military.

We regret the errors.
