Southern gospel quartet at Emmanuel Reformed

MORRISON – Southern gospel quartet Legacy Five will kick off Emmanuel Reformed Church’s 2013 concert season with a free performance at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at the church at 202 E. Morris St.

An all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner, a fundraiser for the Youth Fellowship’s mission trip to Jamaica, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Singing News Magazine, Southern gospel music’s leading fan and trade publication, has nominated Legacy Five for some 75 Singing News fan awards. The group has won a Southern Gospel Music Association “Recording of the Year” award, has had 2 Dove Award nominations, and has been featured on numerous video tapings of the Gaither and Friends Homecoming Video series. The quartet also has performed on TNN, TBN, Sky Angel, INSP, GMT, The Odyssey Network and a host of local channels.
