Local businesses give back
A dozen donate $19,300 for extracurricular activities
DIXON – Businesses were extra generous to a group that funds extracurricular activities at Dixon schools this past year.
The Partnership Development Committee announced local businesses donated $19,300 for 2012-2013, almost $2,000 more than the previous year.
The Dixon School Board subcommittee raises money for projects and activities that involve extracurricular and co-curricular groups, and for items the district and other resources do not pay for.
