OWATONNA, Minn. – Janella Sue Sanburn (neé Charlson) of Owatonna, formerly of Humboldt, Iowa, went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, after a courageous 5-plus-year-long battle with cancer.

Janella was born Feb. 26, 1960, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the youngest of eight children to Melbourne and Naomi (Trotter) Charlson.

She grew up in Humboldt, where she graduated in 1978, and later from Iowa Central Community College. Janella and Brian Sanburn were married Dec. 21, 1985, in Sterling. In 1993, the couple moved back to Owatonna.
