STERLING – Registration will begin at 9 a.m. March 4 for a new preschool program to start in the fall at Woodlawn Arts Academy, 3807 Woodlawn Road.

Woodlawn Preschool Academy of the Arts will feature semester-long classes for children from 3 to 5. Students will learn creative curriculum concepts through arts-based instruction, as well as common, core learning standards developed with the assistance of local kindergarten teachers.

Students will have 1 hour of focused arts education each day in a range of disciplines, including visual arts, theatre, dance, music, and culinary. Families will opportunities to participate in the classroom and attend evening performances by the students.
