Joyce B. Strehlow

MILLEDGEVILLE – Joyce B. Strehlow, 81, of Milledgeville, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at her daughter’s home.

She was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Monroe, Wis., a daughter of Raymond Clarence and Nellie (Ault) Fey. Joyce attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milledgeville.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Folkers and Ruth (William) Wolf, both of Milledgeville, and Debra (Jim) Meyers of Rock Falls; her sons, John (Connie) Strehlow of Champaign, Michael (Kaye) Strehlow of Milledgeville, and Chester (Kristy) Strehlow of Forreston; her sisters, Carol Campbell, Janet (Eugene) Keener, and Helen (Lee) West, all of Wisconsin; her brothers, Robert (Roswitha) Fey and Donald Fey, both of Monroe; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Arthur Fey; a sister, Janet Thompson; a son, Jerry Strehlow; a daughter, Joy Lynn Strehlow; a grandson; and a son-in-law, Marvin Folkers.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., Thursday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milledgeville, with the Rev. Kathy Burkheimer officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Milledgeville. McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established to Heritage Woods of Sterling and Gaffey Hospice.
