Betty J. Sher

COON RAPIDS, Minn. – Betty Jane Wilson Sher was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Dixon, to Eustace and Mable Wilson. She passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at her home in Coon Rapids.

On July 23, 1955, when Betty was 23 years old, she married Marshall Sher, whom she met when they both worked for Bell & Howell. In 1970, they moved from Wheeling to Onamia, Minn., with their sons, Craig and Rick. Together they built a home and a business, Timber Trails Riding Stable. Shortly after the death of Marshall in 2002, she sold Timber Trails and moved in with her son Rick in Coon Rapids.
