Dixon High winter concert

DIXON – The Dixon High School Concert Band presents its free winter concert at 2 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium, 300 Lincoln Statue Drive.

Selections will include "Amparito Roca" by Jaime Texador, "Manhattan Beach" by John Philip Sousa, "Overture in B Flat" by Caesar Giovanni, and "Americans We" by Henry Fillmore.

Second Saturdays in Dixon

DIXON – Second Saturdays Art Happenings, featuring art, music and other cultural events, returns to various venues, mostly from 6 to 8 p.m. downtown, between First and Second streets and Peoria and Galena avenues.

DIXON – A bridal accessories exchange will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Post House Ballroom, 100 W. Second St. Participants can exchange, sell, or give away anything related to weddings, receptions, and other parties.

Admission is free, as are banquet tables in 5- and 8-foot lengths. Each seller must handle setup and money, the Post House is providing space and tables only.

Music, dancing at LASC in Sterling

DIXON – Canterbury Concerts presents Antonio Quaranta and Metropolis Quartet at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Philander Hall, 308 Deer Chase.
