DIXON – A free workshop, Improving the Social Skills of Children with Disabilities will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 21 at Kreider Services Inc., 500 Anchor Road.
Participants will learn how social skills are part of the state’s learning standards, how the acquisition of the skills is addressed in an individual education plan, and methods for teaching social and emotional learning. The presenter will be Rhonda Best.
Those attending are asked to use Door No. 4 by the white picket fence.
Two Continuing Professional Development Units are available for educators; attendance certificates will be provided.
