DIXON – The fourth annual Top Dog fundraiser, a benefit for Granny Rose Animal Shelter, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 2 at Dixon Elks Lodge, 1279 Franklin Grove Road.

There will be a Texas Hold'em poker tournament, a bags tournament, a silent auction, a prize wheel, food, and drink. The Jack Daniels Girls will be on hand, and Steve Lopez, disc jokey, of Lasting Impressions will provide the music.

Tickets for the 50/50 raffle are $5, three for $10, and seven for $20. They can be purchased at the shelter, 613 River Lane; River Ridge Animal Hospital, 273 state Route 2; Vegas Sun, 80 S. Galena Ave; and Oliver's Corner Market, 748 N. Brinton Ave.; and in Sterling at Knie Appliance, 3614 N. Lincolnway, and Tuff Dog Bakery, 7 E. Third St.
