Food certification class starts soon

MENDOTA – A food service sanitation manager certification course will be March 1 and 2 at Mendota Community Hospital, 1401 E. 12th St.

Class hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, with the test at 4 p.m. March 2.

The program is a state-approved 15-hour course for the state food safety certification. All food service facilities are required to have certified managers.

Those interested in renewing a current certification may attend the first 5 hours of either session.
