Storm season ends with regional loss to Red Devils

Robert DeVries poured in 29 points to lead the Forreston boys basketball team to a 60-50 victory over West Carroll on Monday in Forreston.
Also for the Cardinals (10-11), Brett Carlson scored 16 points.
For West Carroll (9-17), Trevor Jones had 15 points and Jordan Bacero added 14.
Girls basketball
Hall 44, Bureau Valley 25: Heaven Bennett scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Storm (1-27), who concluded their season with a loss to the Red Devils at the Class 2A Hall Regional.
Hall will take on the regional's top seed, St. Bede, tonight at 6 p.m.
