No-kill shelter to offer Valentin's deal

Adoption fees will be $54 for kittens, $24 for cats, and $15 for senior and special-needs cats. Any cat adopted that day will come with a "love-a-cat" adoption kit.

Interested parties may visit www.happytailsanimalshelter.org/ to fill out an adoption application. Approved adopters will be invited to the shelter Valentine's Day evening to pick up their new pet.

To meet Happy Tails cats, visit the shelter from 8 a.m to noon Tuesdays through Fridays or 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and 5:30 to7 p.m. Thursdays. For Saturday visits, call 815-626-2994 for an appointment.
