Wrestling: Oregon's Sklavanitis wins title at Dakota
runner-up at Sherrard Regional
Brandon McCullough and Seth Montgomery each won their divisions on Saturday to lead the Erie-Prophetstown wrestling team to second place at the nine-team Sherrard Regional.
Mercer County won the team title with 205.5 points to advance to the Byron Team Sectional on Feb. 19. The Golden Eagles will take on Harvard, with the winner advancing to state.
Erie-Prophetstown (176), Sherrard (131), Morrison (96) and Riverdale (95) rounded out the top five.
