State legislators to speak Feb. 11

ROCK FALLS – Registration is due by Friday for a free state legislative reception for educators from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Candlelight Inn at 2200 First Ave.

The program is open to all active and retired members of the Illinois Education Association and National Education Association and their families. Those attending can meet 36th District Sen. Mike Jacobs, D-Moline, and 71st District Rep. Mike Smiddy, R-Hillsdale.
