GOP Sen. Brady weighing bid for Illinois governor
BLOOMINGTON (AP) — The Republican lawmaker who came close to unseating Gov. Pat Quinn in 2010 said he's laying the groundwork for another run for governor.
WJBC Radio reported Friday (http://bit.ly/UKh3Vb ) that state Sen. Bill Brady, R-Bloomington, sent an email to supporters asking them to donate to his campaign fund.
In the email, Brady said Illinois is worse off than it was four years ago, and that he's best positioned to win back the governor's office for Republicans in 2014.
