DIXON – William G. “Bill” Collins Sr., 50, of Dixon, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his home. He was a self-employed painter.

Bill was born March 28, 1962, in Chicago, the son of Frances Rison. He married Faith Selmeister on July 9, 1993, in Dixon. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and shooting pool.

Survivors include his wife, Faith Collins of Dixon; five sons, William Collins Jr. and Steven Petkiewicz, both of Dixon, Daniel (Krystal) Petkiewicz of South Carolina, and Michael Petkiewicz and Richard Collins, both of Dixon; two daughters, Laura (Justin) Llanas of Dixon and Darla Rivera of Chicago; one brother, Mark Collins of Chicago; 12 grandchildren, Robert, Jeffrey, Angel, Bentley, Danny Jr., Aidan, Gracie, Jonoah, Tianna, Ean, Tristan, and Willow; and special friend, Nicole Lynch.
