MANLIUS – Shelter Insurance Foundation will award a $2,000 scholarship this spring to a Bureau Valley High School graduate.

Rita J. Frank, a Shelter agent in Manlius, sponsors and partially funds the scholarship. A committee of local high school officials and community leaders will choose the recipient. The committee will consider each applicant’s scholastic achievements, educational goals, citizenship, moral character, and participation and leadership in school, as well as community activities. The winner will be announced at the close of the school year.

The money must be used toward a degree at any accredited college or university. Payment will be made directly to the school the recipient selects.
