Local cat owner caught up a tree
I pretty much got stuck’ rescuing Pudge, 24-year-old man says
STERLING – A man trying to rescue his cat from a tree Thursday ended up having to be saved himself.
Shortly after 3 p.m., Sterling firefighters were called to a house in the 300 block of Avenue F to help Chad Speelman, 24, get down from a tree.
Speelman said his black-and-white cat, Pudge, had climbed a front-yard tree it had fallen out of twice before. So he decided to rescue Pudge, who climbed higher than ever before.
