DIXON – LaDonna Fay Maldonado, 64, of Dixon, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She worked as a sales associate at Walmart in Dixon.

She was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Simms, the daughter of Charles and Taimi (Pennala) Witherow.

Surviving are her children, John A. (Kandy) Maldonado Jr. of Eldridge, Iowa, LaMonte C. (Kim) Maldonado of Mobile, Ala., Penelope E. Maldonado of Rock Falls, and Kristina A. Maldonado of Dixon; her brothers, Donald (Nancy) Witherow of Mass City, Mich., Gerald Witherow and John (Shirley) Witherow, both of Rockford, and Paul Witherow of Rochelle; her sisters, Linda (Michael) Hemmen and Elizabeth Planthaber, both of Dixon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
