Shop Small Day will be Feb. 9
Shopping day planned to be a quarterly event
STERLING – Shopping small is going bigger.
Feb. 9’s Shop Small Saturday, organized by Sauk Valley Shop Small, will be the first of what is planned as a quarterly event. The next ones will be May 4 and Aug. 3, followed by the traditional November sale day.
The group held “Small Business Saturday” in 2011 and 2012 on the day after Black Friday as a relaxing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the busiest shopping day of the year.
