Brittany D. Vyas, 18, of Amboy; 5:13 p.m. Tuesday; burglary, theft; taken to Lee County Jail.

Sterling Police

Jonathan A. McGuire, 20, of Dixon; 2:28 a.m. Tuesday at the Dillon Home; warrant – contempt – uninsured motor vehicle; taken to Lee County Jail.

Nyle F. Anderson, 58, of Sterling; 10:04 p.m. Tuesday at Freeport Road and 18th Place; warrant – traffic offense; posted $150.

Mark A. Leather, 46, of Oregon; 5:20 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 100 block of South Fourth Street; overweight on registration.

Information sought: Hit-and-runs: 5:30 p.m. Jan. 14 in the parking lot at 313 S. Second St.; a 2012 Chevy was struck; and sometime before 10:10 p.m. Jan. 16 in the 100 block of North Second Street between a 1995 Dodge and an unknown vehicle. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2162.
