Felon gets 10 years on drug charges
MORRISON – A Sterling man arrested last year in an FBI investigation was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in state prison for drug conspiracy and delivery of a controlled substance.
In exchange for his guilty plea, the state attorney general’s office dropped several other drug and drug conspiracy charges filed against Craig H. Hartman, 26. He was given credit for 225 days served in Whiteside County Jail.
In June, the FBI arrested 19 Chicago-area men, many of whom were suspected members or associates of the Imperial Gangsters, after a 3-year investigation into the sale of drugs and firearms in the Humboldt Park area in northwest Chicago.
