Sterling Chevrolet has donated this 2011 Camaro to the Sterling Booster Club to be raffled off.

STERLING – The Sterling Athletic Booster Club is selling raffle tickets for a silver 2011 Chevrolet Camaro donated by Sterling Chevrolet and worth about $23,000.

Proceeds benefit the club and its programs.

Tickets are $100 and are available at Sterling Chevrolet, 1824 Locust St., at the Sterling High School athletic office, 1608 Fourth Ave., at www.ihigh.com/goldenwarriors and from club members.

Or, for those looking for a more fun way to get their raffle on, tickets also will be sold from 5 to 7 p.m. today during a guest bartending event at The Depot, 214 Locust St.

For $125, Depot patrons can get a raffle ticket and two tickets for the March 9 Booster Club Drawdown, where the winner will be announced.

That’s a $25 savings – otherwise, tickets are $100 for the car and $25 each for the annual drawdown, a fundraising party that includes a meal, games, live and silent auctions and prizes.

Also, those who tip the guest bartenders might be eligible to win a Camaro raffle ticket.

Only 500 tickets will be sold, although at least 300 must be sold to give away the Camaro. If less than 300 are sold, the grand prize will be $5,000.
